1. Usage of the web site

Usage of the web site is limited to private use and a commercial exploitation will never be accepted. You have no rights to make copies of the page or of parts of it, nor to present it, publicize it, expose it, change it or create a page, which is based on it without the permission of luxury Costa rentals The right to use the website for searching for information or making bookings is only given to persons older than 18 years, individuals, juridical persons, or representatives of institutions or companies. We reserve the right to change the website or parts of it and its content whenever we consider it necessary. Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information give on the website, the information provided is only informative material and is dependent on a third party. As such we cannot be held responsible for the information.

2. Reservations / Bookings / Cancellations
Luxury Costa rentals accepts requests only through correctly filled in forms on our site. All questions regarding confirmations, services details, and cancellations must be made by e-mail or fax, in writing or in person. With making a reservation the prospective customer agrees to conclude a contract according to the (here available) conditions and will be called from here on client. By sending back a confirmation of booking by (in the name of luxury Costa rentals) by e-mail, fax or mail a valid contract is made. The client has to verify that all the dates in the confirmation email are correct and to notify to luxury Costa rentals within three days of any possible changes. Failure to notify us within this period will mean that the client accepts the reservation as stated. The correction of mistakes due to typing or calculation errors is reserved. The client is the sole responsible to all obligations, which could follow the contract and will be responsible for all the persons, included in his/her reservation.

The availability of the accommodations is updated every day from Monday until Friday. If nevertheless you as a user send to luxury Costa rentals a request of a booking and the housing is already booked out we will inform you immediately with the alternatives available. If it is decided not to accept any of them, all the personal information, including that of the credit card will be erased immediately.

Specific Conditions for Reservations

Usually it takes 1-3 days to confirm a customer's reservation depending on conditions like the number of requests received per day, the availability of the property at the time of receiving his/her request and the receipt of the prepayment in our bank account. The reservation becomes effective the moment that luxury Costa rentals receives the money due in our bank account, in cash, credit card or, in case of bank transfer, the fax receipt of the transfer wire. If making a booking with a credit card payment you will receive the confirmation in the very moment of doing the reservation.

3. Rates

All rates are quoted in euros (£) and will always be confirmed when luxury Costa rentals invoices the client. Before booking online you will be shown the total price, including any extras booked and VAT, as well as a breakdown of the amounts you are paying for.
Additional charges accommodations:

The accommodation costs do not include: Transfer between airport and accommodation, excursion and other personal expenditure, additional charges extra beds, meals or under-occupancy in properties, charges that properties may make charges for facilities such as, minibus services, sun beds, sauna, tennis courts, golf etc. Deposits are requested on arrival in cash and will be paid back in cash after inspection.

4. Service Orders

When making a reservation and chose as payment method credit card you authorize luxury Costa rentals to charge your credit card (or other approved facility) for any and all purchases of services made by you through luxury Costa rentals. You agree not to report as lost or stolen any credit card which you have used in conjunction with payment to luxury Costa rentals for services which you do not have good reason to believe is, in fact, lost or stolen. You further agree not to report as unauthorized any charge for services which you have, in fact, ordered from luxury Costa rentals You hereby agree that any such false reporting of a lost or stolen credit card or of unauthorized charges shall render you liable to luxury Costa rentals. The liability for liquidated damages specified in this Paragraph shall not limit any other liability you may have for breach (es) of any other terms, conditions and warranties set forth in this Agreement.

5. Payment


Luxury Costa rentals will send you the booking confirmation, as soon as they receive the prepayment by bank transfer (or the fax copy of the wire transfer as a proof) or after having charged your credit card for the amount of the prepayment. The outstanding amount must be paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Methods of payment:

We accept payment by credit cards (Visa, Euro Card/MasterCard, American Express and JCB) and by bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank commissions that may occur. If you pay by bank transfer, please indicate your name on all transfer documents. It is very important to send us the receipt of the wire transfer (with your name, passport number, complete address, telephone and email address) by fax. We can only reserve the accommodation after we have received this proof.


You will be sent two pro former invoices for 30% of the balance due on each, then on arrival an invoice for the total amount of a booking.

6. Security of payments made by credit cards (can you look at this for me)

This website takes every precaution to protect our user’s information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just surfing. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our user’s information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted to our offices. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

7. Confirmation;

All requests will be answered in 24 hours after the request is made except over the weekend. Our offices close on Friday afternoon at 17.00 and reopen on Monday morning at 08.30 Spanish time. Luxury Costa rentals will only accept requests that are filled in correctly through our site form. We will send you a confirmation email for the accommodation on receipt of the prepayment.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation Policy of accommodation:

Please note that our cancellation charges depend on the amount of advance notice given prior to the arrival date at the property reserved. All cancellations must be made in writing by email or by fax. Unfortunately cancellations by phone cannot be accepted.

Our Customer Service opening hours are 08:30 to 17:00 (local time in Barcelona) from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately we are not open on Spanish Bank Holidays. Any cancellations sent to us outside these working hours will be considered as “received” on the date of the next working day.

The cancellation policy applies to all amounts paid and/or confirmed by the client up until the date of cancellation including pre or partial payments/deposits whether made to Open Ho Luxury Costa rentals use or to the Property Owner themselves.

Cancellation Policy:

  • More than 45 days before arrival: Charge of 10% of payments made. This will be deducted from the total that will be refunded to the client.
  • Between 31 and 45 days inclusive before arrival: Charge of 50% of payments made. This will be deducted from the total that will be refunded to the client.
  •  Less than 31 days before arrival: Charge of 90% of payments made. This will be deducted from the total that will be refunded to the client.

We recommend that you obtain insurance that will provide you with cover should you need to cancel your travel plans.

Change Policy for accommodation:

Changes in reservations may include change of arrival or departure date, destination, number of guests and property or property type reserved. In order to make a change to your reservation it will be necessary to cancel the booking you have already made and then make a new reservation. In situations where the cancellation of the reservation causes a reduction of the services contracted with a particular property, Luxury Costa Rentals reserves the right to apply the cancellation charge as specified above.

The administration charge that will be applied by Luxury Costa rentals is detailed below:

  • 1st change to a reservation administration charge of £0 providing your booking is in the same season. If your new dates are more expensive you will have to pay the difference.
  • 2nd and/or successive changes, administration charge of 3% per change.


If Luxury Costa Rentals fail to receive the administration charge and any applicable cancellation charges in advance of the arrival date, we will be obliged to cancel the reservation for failure to comply with accepted Terms and Conditions. In case of such a cancellation, the Cancellation Policy as detailed above will apply.

All cancellations must be made by e-mail or fax to Luxury Costa Rentals. The cancellation fee varies depending on how soon before the booking is cancelled. For a cancellation to be effective on the same day that the client contacts us, the client must contact us within our office hours, if not the cancellation will be effective from our next working day. Our working hours can be found on our webpage under the link ‘Contact Us’. Cancellation policies vary from property to property. Therefore, cancellation conditions are stated for each booking after checking the availability and price. Furthermore, it will appear automatically in the booking voucher - ie if there are several different costs then they will all appear with relevant dates. If a client does not cancel until the day of the booking the client is liable for the booking value in its entirety. We do consider each case separately however and in extenuating circumstances, we will consider a partial or full refund. As a general rule however the client will be liable for all nights.

We recommend for these reasons that you take out travel insurance.


The tenant is not freed from the responsibility of payment due to personal circumstances or force majeur such as war, strikes or natural catastrophes.

10. Check in / Check out

Housing (apartment, shared flat, family housing):

If you have booked an accommodation you should go directly to the address indicated in the accommodation confirmation received by Luxury Costa Rentals. The contact person will do the check in, the check out and hand you the keys. In case of delay the contact person has to be advised immediately. Check out must be before 11:00hrs. In case of a delay in the occupation of the accommodation, or in case of an unanticipated departure, there will not be any change of the total rental price.

On arrival to the accommodation, please give a copy of your identity papers to the contact person for legal prescribed registration. The contact person of the domicile has the right to refuse admittance guests who do not present identity papers. It is not permitted to stay in the accommodation with persons other than those mentioned on the booking form or those who are with you on arrival. Any change of persons during the stay is strictly forbidden, except when prior to arrival permission, has been asked of the contact person and granted by him. Furthermore it is not permitted to stay in the accommodation with more people than mentioned in the booking confirmation. In such cases the Luxury Costa rentals has the right to ask you to vacate the premises immediately.

11. Security Deposit

Security deposits are to be handed over to the person who greets you and collection of the deposit is done through the same procedure. On the day of departure of the client, the contact person is obliged to refund the deposit of guarantee (this excludes demands made for possible damage caused) only after checking the accommodation. The deposit is paid as a guarantee to ensure no damage is done to the accommodation. In the case where a contact person retains part of or the complete deposit the contact person is advised to hand in a written report on the damages done to justify the retention of the deposit to Luxury Costa rentals.

12. During the stay

You will have to treat the accommodation you are renting out and all of the equipment that belongs to the accommodation with care. Possible rules of the accommodation and its environment have to be respected in all moments and you will also have to respect the neighbours.
If there is any damage done to the accommodation or to the equipment in it, it has to be communicated immediately to the contact person. You will be held responsible for any damage of the accommodation or the equipment, done by you or one of your travel passengers.

13. Domestic Animals

Bringing along domestic animals normally is not permitted in all accommodations if not otherwise stated in the description of the accommodation. In certain cases (blind dogs, pets for psychological disturbed children, etc.) it is possible that Luxury Costa Rentals will give special permissions. Please inquire prior to reservation if you may bring along the animal.

14. Descriptions of Accommodation

All information regarding the accommodation, including the photos and prices is provided by the Luxury Costa Rentals. We try our very best to verify this information and keep it up to date, but Luxury Costa Rentals can never be held liable for the content in the descriptions of the accommodation.

15. Privacy Policy

Luxury Costa Rentals wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy. If you are interested in learning more about what personal information is being gathered by our site, who is collecting the information, how the information will be used or with whom the information will be shared with, please consult our privacy statement

16. Claims

Housing (apartment, townhouse, and villa):

In case of claims against the accommodation you have to communicate them immediately to the contact person. If not you will loose all rights of compensation. If the reasons for the claim have not been eliminated in an appropriate period of time it has to be communicated to Luxury Costa Rentals. Any demand of compensation has to be presented in written form to Luxury Costa Rentals within one month. Later demands cannot be respected.

17. Responsibility

Open House Spain S.L. acts as an agent private accommodation owner. Therefore Luxury Costa Rentals can never be responsible for delays, accidents, losses, changes of schedules and rates, damages, etc. (neither for persons nor for objects), that may occur in any of its suppliers´ services.

Luxury Costa Rentals or its employees are not responsible for:

  • errors, omissions, or misspelled words
  • misrepresentation by third parties
  • personal damages or injuries incurred while staying in one of the accommodations of this web site
  • disputes between a consumer and a third party
  • content of external links you will find on our website

The service of Open House Spain S.L. ends with the preparation and with issuing of the documents of your booking. This can be by email, fax, personally in the office of Luxury Costa Rentals or by mail if the client so wishes. In the last case Luxury Costa Rentals reserves the right to charge an additional 25 euros.

Luxury Costa Rentals is responsible to exercise the diligence of a respectable business for the conscientious preparation, the careful monitoring and selection of the service providers and the respectable contribution of the agreed services taking into consideration local and national customs. Our liability is excluded or limited if, on the basis of agreements or international legal norms in force, which must be applied to the services of the proprietor of a service, the liability of this proprietor is likewise excluded or limited. Luxury Costa rentals does its very best to verify all the information that content the web site and to keep it up to date, but Luxury Costa Rentals can never be held liable for its content. The responsibility of Luxury Costa Rentals is limited to the total amount of the services paid for.

18. Withdrawal by Open House Spain S.L.

Luxury Costa Rentals can withdraw from the contract without any grace, if the tenant regardless of a warning by Luxury Costa Rentals disturbs the peace or behave contrary to the terms of the agreement in such a degree that the immediate annulment of the contract is justified. If we terminate for the reasons specified above, then our claim to the entire rent remains; we must however take into account the value of saved expenditures as well as the advantages which we may attain from another reservation of the Domicile.

19. Notice

Any notice to Luxury Costa Rentals should be sent to or by fax to +34 952 88 4111 (Spain) during normal business hours. You must promptly inform Luxury Costa Rentals of changes in the expiration date of any credit card used in connection with the services; changes in home or billing address; and any actual or suspected apparent breaches of security, such as loss, theft, or unauthorised disclosure. Until Luxury Costa Rentals is notified of a breach in security, you will remain liable for any unauthorised use of the services. Luxury Costa Rentals will provide you with copies of billing records documenting charges for use of the services upon request.

20. Salvatori Clause

If a rule of this agreement should be explained by a responsible court for illegal that does not touch the validity of the other regulations. If a rule of this agreement is ineffective only in a section, then the other sections keep their validity.

21. Area of Jurisdiction

As sole area of jurisdiction for suits against Luxury Costa Rentals UK is agreed.

22. Trademarks

Luxury Costa Rentals and other graphics, logos, and service names appearing on this site are the trademarks of Luxury Costa Rentals or its respective content suppliers. These trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not provided by Luxury Costa Rentals or by its respective content suppliers, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion amongst customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits the company.
